I believe the artist’s personal aesthetic changes and develops over time. The surreal motif of my youth has given way to more personal themes. I often feel that each time I take on a new subject that I am learning to paint anew. My striving to evolve and paint subjects and environments that are new for me supports my continued development as an artist.
